چکیده
In Malaysia, conventional rice farming is the predominant method of cultivation with attendant problems like harmful effects utilisation synthetic pesticides and fertilisers. Thus, was compared to System Rice Intensification (SRI) method, a variant agroecological farming, in Kampung Klerek, Bachok District, Kelantan. It must be noted that farmer’s maiden attempt. Agroecological much more environmentally friendly approach. The aim this paper compare vis-à-vis from financial perspective. Comparative Cost Benefit Analysis has been adopted determine which better alternative is. However, results go beyond consideration as chemically driven whereas grounded on environmentalism. indicated higher revenue lower cost production. due production yield contributory factors labour cost, seed ancillary zero for fertilisers fuel machinery despite organic fertiliser cost. long-term basis, effect learning experience curve, can lowered further. Moreover, yield, less wastage, fertilisers, natural pest control methods are sync good environmental practices.

Agroecological Farming Systems
The term agroecology refers to ecosystems. Ecosystems are characterised by aspects such as nutrient cycling, population regulation, energy flows and a dynamic equilibrium. These characteristics apply to natural ecosystems, and, in a much altered form, also to manmade or agricultural ecosystems. The magnitude of the differences between natural and agricultural ecosystems depends mainly on the hu...
متن کاملConventional and Organic Farming — Does Organic Farming Benefit Plant Composition, Phenolic Diversity and Antioxidant Properties?
The growing demanding from consumers for healthier foods, produced using environmentally friendly farming practices has resulted in the rapid expansion of organic farming. There are numerous studies about the importance of organic farming but the majority of the results are sometimes contradictory, inconsistent and show no clear link between organic farming practices and enhancement of the nutr...
متن کاملDoes organic farming benefit biodiversity?
The intensification and expansion of modern agriculture is amongst the greatest current threats to worldwide biodiversity. Over the last quarter of the 20th century, dramatic declines in both range and abundance of many species associated with farmland have been reported in Europe, leading to growing concern over the sustainability of current intensive farming practices. Purportedly sustainable...
متن کاملComparative analysis of carp farming costs in Iran, in 1996 and 2001
Carp is one of the most widely cultivated warm water fish, which has been introduced into many countries. It is essential for the manager of a carp farm to know the production costs and their evolution, showing the main inputs on which the cost reduction is worth effort. In Iran, carp farming is mainly based on common carp, silver carp, grass carp, and bighead carp, which were often reared in p...
